Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA)
This assessment evaluates your ability to perform physical tasks, helping you develop a plan for rehabilitation. By identifying areas of weakness, the FCA can also guide the development of an individualized care plan.
The results of the FCA can also be important for employers or insurance companies making decisions about disability benefits.
Upper limb (UL) rehabilitation
Upper limb rehabilitation focuses on therapy-based interventions to assist with fine motor and gross motor skills including your hands and arms.
Home Modifications & Minor Modifications & SIL
An occupational therapist (OT) is trained to assist people with home and minor modifications as well as Supported Independent Living (SIL). These modifications can assist you to continue living at home independently with the assistance of aids or rails, without sacrificing the aesthetics that are important to your environment.

Assistive Technology (AT)
(AT) can include devices, tools, or software that enhance an individual's ability to perform ADLs. By enabling greater independence, AT can improve quality of life and reduce the need for assistance from caregivers. AT can also provide safety benefits by reducing the risk of falls, injuries, or accidents during ADLs.

What we do
Our AHPRA registered Occupational Therapists (OT) can assist you at home, local community or in the clinic. We work with NDIS, DVA and My Aged Care providing assessment and goal-directed intervention.
Assessment
Assessments include:
Functional assessment - We assess someone’s ability to perform everyday tasks such as showering, mobility, meal preparation, housework, shopping, work, study, manage finances
Provision of standardised assessments eg. CANS, WHODAS, Life Skills Profile (LSP-16)
We then provide recommendations on:
The environmental or care supports that an individual needs
Assistive technology equipment eg. mobility scooters, power beds, sensory tools
