NDIS & Exercise Physiology
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians with a permanent and significant disability and their families and carers. It is designed to support people with disability to develop skills and capacity so they can participate in work and community life.
For people needing in home disability support, the NDIS can provide funding for numerous services, including allied health therapies. As an NDIS service provider, Rebound Health offers mobile Exercise Physiology services for people with intellectual disability, mental health conditions and neurological disorders.
Allied health services such as Exercise Physiology are funded under the ‘Improved Health and Wellbeing’ and/or ‘Improved Daily Living’ categories of your NDIS Capacity Building Supports budget.
